the goodfellows : a family affair : withunmind photography

it was so serendipitous that i ran in to that family. they have introduced me to the wonderful world of essential oils. its really been life changing. it was so my pleasure to be able to photograph them. if i haven't said it before, photography and storytelling and creating, those are my drugs of choice. it gives me a high. it feeds my SOUL! i love that i have the ability to reflect back to my clients the beauty that is them! i left this session on cloud 9 and it still puts a little pep in my step every time i get to look at these images.

leavy wedding : sneak peek : oklahoma city area photographer

introducing mr and mrs leavy!! ive been so excited watching the plans for this wedding  unfold over the past 6 months or so. such a beautiful little family! i so enjoyed getting to meet the extended family and seeing the african customs at the ceremony!! we were a little pressed for time when it came to taking pictures of the wedding party - less than 10 minutes to be exact (the fastest i've ever done it) but we definitely pulled it off!! can't wait to get the gallery in their hands so that they can look back on the images from their special day!!

i love babies. ESPECIALLY newborns. i could shoot them all day long. i love the freshness. i love the innocence. i love to sniff them - its no secret. i love the connections between them and the rest of their families. i just love babies!! two years ago i got to photograph thomas' older brother charlie and now i'm blessed with the chance to see thomas' change this beautiful family!!

i loved being able to watch this couple unite in love!! i capture a limited number of weddings each year - making each one SO special to me. eric and adrianne incorporated so many intimate details in to their day. some of my favorite are shown above! before they were joined in matrimony they joined each other in prayer before the service - each from their own rooms so they wouldnt see each other before the ceremony. they also set a bible out at the reception for the guest to highlight their favorite passages and write encouraging notes in the margins -  LOVED this idea!!!

it doesnt really seem like it was that long ago that i photographed charlie as a newborn. now here he is 2 and about to be a big brother!! i'm lovin seeing this family grow!
