i'm sure ive said this before. i always feel like i repeat myself on this blog. i guess i could lie just to say something different. the truth is so much better tho and so much easier to remember. lol. i LOVE being able to shoot my friends. i love that they trust ME to capture their families. i think when i first met them, will who is now 7 wasnt quite two yet. we actually met through our daughters who are friends - we hit it off and i'm so glad to be able to call amy a friend now!! i started to apologize for the post being so picture heavy, but then again, that would be a like. i'm really not sorry. i always have a harder time narrowing down images when it comes to folks i actually know.

spent some time in the paseo district this past weekend shooting sister and brother seniors. my husband is constantly saying how small of a world this is. i knew when we booked the session that the grandmother was related to friends of ours. after booking a session i found out that my daughter and the sister from this session are friends and have a class together. definitely a small world.

i think this is my 3rd time photographing ashlinn in the past year or so. like many of my clients she just makes it so so easy for me. i love her sense of style and shes very creative as well!!!

this is actually my first time photographing twin babies. it was interesting. it was fun. it was a learning experience and i'm pretty sure maxwell gave me the evil eye a few times for moving him too much. i just feel blessed to have been able to capture a few images of them - knowing that they will never be this small again!

oh miss kynley! this child has the prettiest eyes and the longest lashes!! loved, loved shooting her along with her parents. dad had this version of the alphabet song that he would sing to her to get her attention and get her smile - even made me want to smile!!

tehryn came out ready and excited to shoot her senior session. she eased in to it and we had a lot of fun. she quite possibly has the quickest transition time from smile to "serious face" that ive seen of this years seniors! i really should offer some sort of prize for that!!

mercades, mercades, mercades! what can i say about this girl!! i love her! ive been shooting her for a few years and shes such a good kid (sorry)!! so funny, so smart and so pretty!!! ive loved seeing her grow over the past few years!!!

oklahoma city buddy walk

 at the end of last month, i shot the BEAUTIFUL wedding of david and thy. you may remember their engagement session from earlier this year. my assistant, sheila, and i spent the day with them capturing their traditional asian wedding. i'm really at a lost of words to explain how memorable and enjoyable the day was. i will just let the pictures speak for themselves....

baby preston : oklahoma city newborn photographer

i cant believe that i'm just getting around to sharing this! this past may i was extremely honored to be able to capture the birth of baby preston! to photograph a birth has been on my photography bucket list for a while now. it feels so good to be able to have accomplished it and take it off the list. enough about me though. prestons mom was AMAZING. she chose to do a natural, home delivery. it actually ended up being a water birth. she was determined to do it AND SHE DID!!

back in the mix : oklahoma city area photographer

school's back in session for my children and i find myself trying to settle in to a consistent routine to effective balance my time during the day between the one child still at home, work and house things. so far, 4 days in to the new school year, so good. before this blog was started, i had a personal blog which lately ive really started to miss. i'm seriously considering combining the two...its all me, so why split it up right? plus sometimes my focus cant stretch that far, lol, and one of the other will end up being neglected. so, if you stop back by and see a bald headed but very cute little girl, half naked, with chocolate all over her face, dont be afraid - that'd be my baby girl! i'll leave you today with a few images from a session i did for my big brother and his family.
