this long awaited family session got interrupted by a cold temperamental  oklahoma day. the day before was nice. the day after, nice as well. thats, oklahoma for you though, where the motto is - if you dont like the weather, just wait awhile. lol. we did manage to squeeze out just a few shots though! take two is bound to yield more images!

 i think i may be having way too much fun with these prom mini sessions! the kids, ahem, i mean young people (dang i feel like i'm gettin old!) have been great! i will definitely have to make a point to post more of the images from the sessions. we still have a few saturdays left and a few spots opening. call and book your spot and let us put a new spin on the old prom pictures!

i had a really good time with the booze family. i have to say, i may have been a tad bit worried at first. so far, ive yet to meet a kid that i didnt like and that didnt like me at least by the end of the session! aubriel was threatening to break my streak! she wanted nothing to do with me. was giving me all kind of dirty looks ya'll. lol. we had a little talk, exchanged a little food and by the end she was letting me hold her and giving me high fives. she made me work, thats okay though because i truly love what i do! her parents are both very talented musicians. i can personally vouch for this since i made them actually play during the session not just "look" like they were playing. lol. i was very impressed! i once again leave a session feeling very blessed to capture these images for this beautiful, young family!

ahh. now this was fun! me and takisha go way back - to at least high school days. possibly middle school days but i'm gettin old and cant quite remember back that far. she's good people ya'll! i truly enjoyed capturing these images for her in celebration of her obtaining her masters in human relations from ou. proud of you ma'am!!

brittany came in last friday and shut it down in less than an hour. possibly the quickest senior session i ever shot even with 3 clothing changes!  she knew what she was doing though! we pulled out some beautiful images of this beautiful young girl! i LOVED her freshness and her honesty!

for some reason i have a thing for putting children in the middle of the street. i mean i put newborns in drawers and on bookshelves so it shouldnt be too surprising that i'll endanger the life of a senior by asking her to sit in the middle of main street while holding a priceless piece of art that took her months to create, right?? i havent lost a child yet. i mean there was that one time that, uh, well, uhm - lets say what happens at our sessions stays at the session! (plus i delivered the kid back home with all body parts still intact!). i loved hanging out with samara to capture these images for her senior session. we started at pinkitzel then traveled a little further into bricktown. it was kinda chilly out but this girl rocked it! the proof is in the pictures!!

my little mama, a'khari grace. i dont know why this child is trying to grow up on me. sniff. sniff. she'll be 2 in just about a month. when i recieved this new hat in the mail last week i had to drop everything i was doing to go play with her (in the hat of course). had to get in a few of my mini me too - kya mama!

before we kicked off our mini sessions last weekend i took my family out for a session. a collaboration between withunmind photography and kreative koncepts. this has to be one of my favorites from our session. we are missing one though - the baby decided this scene wasnt for her and took off down the block. ive already ordered this one as a 16x20 float wrap! cant wait to get it and hang it up! i'll come back and post pictures too!

love LOVE loved this kid! we clicked immediately. i coulda shot him all day long - i woulda put the camera away just to hang with him! cool little guy here and FUN-NY!!
