what is wednesday : gift prints : withunmind photography

an often asked question when it comes to placing orders is, "what is a gift print?" currently, all of the collections on the price list include gift prints. a gift print is a 5x7, an 8x10 or a set of 8 wallets. for example, if a collection includes 6 gift prints then it is your choice of whatever combination of gift prints you'd like to total to 6 (i.e. 2 8x10, 2 5x7s and 2 sets of wallets or even all 8x10s).

what is wednesday : what is a storyboard (revisited) : withunmind photography

this was actually the first "what is wednesday" feature but it is definitely and often asked question so i felt the need to bring it back for a recap. i think that was definitely a run on sentence! don't jude me! lol


as a photography business, of course you know i offer prints - but what else?? products? services? welcome to "what is...wednesday". today's topic : what is a storyboard?

i LOVE storyboards. storyboards do just that - tell a little story. storyboards include multiple images on one print or canvas. creatively designed. custom art made just for you. 

see. i like to have fun with these. no two are alike! storyboards can be created at just about any size larger than an 8x10. one of my favorite sizes is 10x20. its a nice, long, rectangle shape. each storyboard is mounted on 2mm thick white or black styrene board. this is thin enough to still be framed but nice and sleek to give a modern look when hung or displayed as is (which is my personal choice). storyboards are priced at 1.5x the price of that same print size. for example, an 11x14 print is $55.00 so an 11x14 story board is $82.50 . the current price list (http://www.withunmindphotography.com/price%20list.pdf) has storyboards in artistic, modern and digital collections.

what is wednesday?? what is an accordion mini??

for today's episode of "what is wednesday" we're talking about the accordion mini (pictured below). these are amazing cute little albums! typically they are either square (about 3in x 3in) or wallet sized (2in x 3in). perfect for your purse or briefcase or even to display on your desk! accordion mini's can accommodate 10-14 images of your choice. they are only available with collections and not for sale individually. they come in sets of two - one to keep and one to give!!

miss brooklyn is a whole 9 months!!

my very first session with a newborn brooklyn!!!!

there's a "story" to this storyboard above!  let me give you a play by play. we were sitting in a little tunnel at a playground when a little girl about 4 or so came out of nowhere and climbed past brooklyn in the tunnel nearly kicking her in the head. since i'm a baby mind reader i can tell you what brooklyn was thinking. 1. did she just climb right past me, not say excuse me AND kick me?? 2. mama, tell me she didn't!! 3. ahhh naw! mama hold me back!! 4. let this girl come back. lol!

can't wait to see brooklyn again in a few months! she'll probably be walking by then! i'm gonna get some exercise in so that i'll be ready for her!!

what is wednesday : float wraps

so we're back for another "what is wednesday?" i know that theres only been one so far!! lol! i'm working on that though! each wednesday will spotlight a new item, product, service, etc and provide useful information about it. "what is wednesday?" from here till we run out of things to ask the question about! this week i want to answer the question i get often - what is a float wrap?? float wraps turn your photographs into amazing pieces of art for your wall!! the lab takes your print and literally wraps it around a piece of masonite. a piece of padding is added between the print and masonite. a thick block of gator board is then added to the back (with holes ready for hanging) to allow for it to stand out or "float" from the wall when hung. there's no need for framing - it is ready to be placed on the wall when it comes to you! float wrap are available as an 8x10 or larger with pricing starting at %75. they are very clean, slick and modern. most definitely one of my favorite things!!

leavy wedding : sneak peek : oklahoma city area photographer

introducing mr and mrs leavy!! ive been so excited watching the plans for this wedding  unfold over the past 6 months or so. such a beautiful little family! i so enjoyed getting to meet the extended family and seeing the african customs at the ceremony!! we were a little pressed for time when it came to taking pictures of the wedding party - less than 10 minutes to be exact (the fastest i've ever done it) but we definitely pulled it off!! can't wait to get the gallery in their hands so that they can look back on the images from their special day!!
