marquis and i hung out a few saturdays ago for a little mini session. the boy came dressed SHARP! had the personality to match - that laid back, smart boy swag! little ladies you better watch out! i'm going to go lock up my daughter now! then again, this is EXACTLY the kind of young man i'd want her to bring home!

awwww. sweet baby taraji. i could play with babies all day long. especially ones this tiny and cute and fresh!! i didnt sniff this one so i am getting better but i still do have serious baby fever!! i wish i had one to play with at home whenever i wanted. sigh. my husband isnt on board with that line of thinking. in the meantime i'll just have to get my fix from sessions like this one with sweet baby taraji...

valentines mini sessions : oklahoma city area photographer

every valentines day my kids come home from school with it least 3 or 4 of the same kind of cards in their stash. this has inspired our first mini session of the new year!  i got tired of them picking out that "perfect" card just for it to be someone else's perfect card. we no longer buy valentine cards in our house and its absolutely guaranteed that no one else will have the same card as them. besides that, my kids love passing out cards with their favorite picture on them! 

don’t think that this is just for the kiddies. heck, you’ll be the coolest kid at work passing out valentine's day cards with your beautiful face on them! this is perfect for couples, families or even single folks who just feel like being fabulous! 

from your 20 minute mini session you'll receive (1) 8x10 , (2) 5x7 (gotta have something to give to grandma), and either (25) valentine cards or a 10x20 storyboard. 

this is a one day mini session so spots are limited!!

one hot mama : sneak peek : oklahoma city area photographer

i typically add a little commentary BELOW my images. i think this post needs a warning/disclaimer/what have you though. lol. this post will be VERY picture heavy! today i wrapped up my last session of the year. we're ended on a very special and sentimental note. i'm introducing one hot mama :)  . my big sister, bianca. i wanted to get her in front of my camera. she came willingly and ready with no arm twisting. she recently reached her weight loss goal that she set earlier this year. i'm so so proud of all of the hard work she has done!

these people made me nearly freeze my little fingers off during out session! it was COLD! im very hot natured, rarely wear a coat, am usually turning the heat down instead of up - but i was COLD! lol. though ive still yet to get some of the feeling back in my right hand, it was very worth it. loved spending time with this family and capturing just a little bit of what makes them them!

these kids (and their mom) were troopers. right before our shoot, the temperature dropped. it was pretty chilly out. we still managed to capture some great images even if we walked away with a little frostbite! lol

RARELY has it happened that i photograph a baby/kid/family only once. i LOVE that i have been blessed to watch them grow and share in so many milestones, celebrations and life experiences! these kids are no exception! that little one on the right is one of my little muses!!

i had the honor of spending my morning with miss ava grace and her family! the girl had enough clothes and shoes to clothe all the babies in the metro. lol. not really, but she had A LOT of cute stuff. mom let me just have at it and i was like a kid in the candy store. thanks jamie! dad fed me and grandma encouraged me to shop. lol. i love that i can book a session with complete strangers and walk out at the end of the shoot feeling like i'm leaving friends! loved this entire family - esp that ava grace!!!

i spent my morning with this cute CUTE cute little baby boy and his parents. he was SO funny and SO full of personality! in this last shot he's saying "i dont know". lol. he seriously set a great tone for the rest of my day!!

this little girl did absolutely nothing to help the baby fever i'm currently having. i think she actually made it a bit worse! i spent some time this morning with her and her entire family (hi mom and dad, miss olivia, uncle, auntie, grandma and papa!). though she was sleep when i first arrived she was definitely ready for her close up! did i mention that i'm having baby fever?? can you tell?? out of the entire family session i post a picture of the baby! lol. i'm actually supposed to be in bed, the hubby is waiting! as i sat down though to prep these for the initial "go through" this image just grabbed me and pulled me in! hopefully the hubby will understand why i had to stop just for a few minutes and share it with you all!

i confess. while his parents werent looking, i stole a few sniffs of charlie. i LOVE newborns! i love the smell of newborns. i love the size of newborns. i love their little yawns and their half smiles. i love their streches and their cute little toes! i love pretty much every thing about them! lol. charlie, of course, was no exception. he was the perfect little baby and definitely ready for his close up!
