my little mama

this is my kenzie mama! we shot these a few weeks ago - right before she turned 7! this little girl is amazing and often leaves me speechless and laughing to the point that i have tears in my eyes!!

the robles villiage

here's 3 out of the 4 chaps from the robles clan (and we just learned that they have one more on the way!) so so cute. i remember when baby daniel was just in his mama's belly. actually i remember way before that! his mama has been two of my children's teachers. though i'm so happy for their beautiful, growing family i am a bit sad that my other children are missing out on her teachings!!

amber : class of 2012 : sneak peek

soooo......i actually met amber for the first time about a year ago during a prom mini session. that was a really quick session though, she had lots of family around, etc etc. so fast forward to monday, she shows up for her senior session. we shoot. we talk. we laugh. pretty much without fail - i always get good kids. kids that i genuinely LIKE! i like amber alot! she's cool. she's laid  back. she's funny. she's smart! i like!!!

little kayson stopped in to update and diversify his portfolio so that he'd be well prepared for future adventures and engagements!!! i really wanted to rename him juicy juicy!!

saturday i got to spend a little time with the browns! nice folks and beautiful kids too!!! 

i coulda hung with jaylen all day! very cool little dude and he already has a mustache!

all grown up : sneak peek : oklahoma city area photographer

sunday, i headed down to the paseo to photograph the family of a good friend. i'm not afraid to admit that these types of sessions are just a bit out of my comfort zone. i had to look back to see if i had actually shot a group of adult siblings, and i had - once before. my average client usually still has a curfew, was born after i graduated from high school and quite possibly may still need help tying his or her shoes. so this session was different. but different is okay. i loved shooting these folks. i know i say it all the time but it is true every single time i say it! they were so fun, had me cracking up the whole session. it was really interesting for me to see how they interact with each other now that they are all grown up. i feel blessed to have been able to capture just a few aspects of that relationships. i feel even more blessed to have met them. and that one chick - the one with the white hair - she just may have left an impression on my heart. dang. i love my job!
